Welcome!

We're happy to announce our second collaborative network workshop: Models to Support Decision Making in the Energy Sector that will be held May 3-4, 2018, at Fiesta Americana San Antonio el Puente Hotel (Cuernavaca, Morelos). Building upon the experience of the first workshop that was held last december, this new workshop will provide a unique opportunity to have discussions and face to face interaction between researchers in order to conclude with the definition of concrete research projects.

Through the workshop we will identify / develop / agree / enhance the collaboration and set the foundation for a sustainable project collaboration. We wil also create strong partnerships and attract resources from companies and government to stimulate applied research and technology development.

Workshop dynamics consists of three parts:

• Pitch presentations by participants
• Parallel working groups by area following a method already designed. The purpose of these small sessions is to identify common research lines and to develop at least one project proposal per small group
• Networking by research area: each group will decide if they need to continue working on a more detailed proposal, or perhaps visit the university facilities and laboratories or visit other research faculty.
