Summary

Ricardo Granados worked for nearly five years in PEMEX, the National Oil Company owned by the Mexican State, occupying several positions from 2010 to 2014; he was part of the operating team that reformed the retirement fund system and as banks and financial institutions liaison. He worked as advisor to the Board of Directors, the Investment Committee and the Environmental and social affairs committee. In early 2015, he become part of the team for the decision-making theater for the Mexican energy sector, a project co-developed by Arizona State University, Monterrey Institute of Technology and the National Science and Technology Council. He has been collaborating with an NGO, Ombudsman Energía México (OEM), as head of economic and social impacts of the extractive industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, with a master’s degree on IT Management from the Monterrey Institute of Technology.
