Summary

Berenice has Master's Degree in Engineering, Fields of Knowledge Planning and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. She has been worked in environmental, academic and energy sectors. She joined the Ministry of Energy in march 2016 as Deputy Director of Sectorial Information. She has overall responsibility for the administration and maintenance of the Energy Information System. She was freelance consultant and has participated in designing and implementing methodologies and techniques about software engineering and planning process for the Modeling Integral System of the Energy Sector (SIMISE) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and Ministry of Energy (SENER). Previously, she was Departmental Head of Unit for Statistics and Strategic Analysis at Environment Secretariat of Mexico City. She active participated in database management, editorial design and compilation of the Inventory of Solid Waste in Mexico City. Also she was project management with a focus on management of information systems, strategic planning and municipal solid waste. In addition, she applied software engineering and web design in different projects like the Virtual tour of Mayan for the Science Museum (UNIVERSUM) of the UNAM.
