Osiris Canciglieri Junior

Prof. Canciglieri is a director of Industrial and Systems Engineering Graduate Program (PPGEPS), full professor in the Polytechnic School at Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná – PUCPR. Osiris Canciglieri Junior completed his Ph.D. at Loughborough University (England – UK), his Master in Engineering at University of Campinas (DEF/FEM/UNICAMP - Brazil) and his undergraduate studies at School of Industrial Engineering of São José dos Campos (EEI - Brazil). He lectures in the undergraduate Programs Control and Automation Engineering (Mechatronics) and Production Engineering, and also, lectures in the Industrial Engineering and Systems Graduate Program (PPGEPS/PUCPR). He also was an invited Professor in Chemical Department at Padova University – Italy (2014) and invited Professor in The Wolfson School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Loughborough University - UK (2008).
His research includes Product Development Methodologies, Design for Sustainability, Concurrent Engineering, Development of Sustainable Products focused on the production, generation and use of renewable energy, product design, ontologies, information models to support design and manufacturing activities to develop products and information modelling to support product design and manufacturing.
Professor Canciglieri has supervised 45 Masters in Engineering, 7 PhD research students and 2 post-doctorate. He has published over 120 journal papers, has presented about 180 papers in international conferences, has published 3 books and more than 35 scientific book chapters. He is also a reviewer for several international journals and has held various roles in scientific committees of various organizations and meetings.
